Craig Ransley - Executive Chairman


Craig Ransley is the founder of ResCo Services with a proven track record in human resources. In 1999, Craig identified the need for a human resources company specialising in highly skilled labour, placements and general resourcing of the human and maintenance requirements to these specialist industries. Craig began operating initially as Hydro services, located in Tasmania, contracting to Aurora Energy providing overhead vegetation line and easement clearing services before the company grew into The TESA Group Pty Ltd. Recognising its strong presence in the black coal industry, SKILLED Group purchased TESA in 2006 for $61.9m in cash. At that time, TESA had revenue of $165m and EBITDA of $8.5m.

Craig previously had an 8-year career in the Royal Australian Navy, as a qualified fitter and machinist, and now leads a progressive client orientated company focused on providing service solutions to its Australia- wide clientele.

Brett Magill - Chief Operating Officer


Originally from Sydney, Brett has worked in the service, maintenance and repair side of the automotive, truck and earthmoving construction industry at trade level (triple trade qualified) before relocating to the Hunter Valley 13 years ago. Brett had 18 months experience in underground mining equipment repairs (surface and underground) before returning to open cut equipment. Brett specialised in heavy mining equipment and hydraulic excavators for OEM’s at trade and product management support roles before founding VPS.

VPS commenced operations in July 2000 as a specialist fleet servicing, maintenance and repair provider in the mining industry on 4WD’s, trucks and Ancillary equipment such as water pumps, cranes, compressors and large plant. With Brett’s industry and trade knowledge VPS has turned into a successful and recognised service provider for the mining industry as a specialist fleet maintenance and support company.

Brad Mordue - Operations/Electrical Manager


Born and bred in the Newcastle area, working with Vehicle & Plant Services since 2003 fulfilling roles as Site Supervisor and Electrical Division Manager along with his new role as Operation / Electrical Manager since January 2008.

Brad is a trade qualified auto electrician with years of recognised experience for his skills in auto electrical and electronic system fitting, service and maintenance. Brad has had a broad knowledge and hands on experience in automotive, truck, marine and mining equipment, electrical work and system design and maintenance. Brad's input to the VPS electrical department has been invaluable and he is recognised throughout the local mining industry for his dedicated approach to our customer's requirements.
